With many schools beginning to reopen we would like to bring up some topics of consideration to include; athletics – competition and practice, transportation – bus seating & waivers for self-transport, outbreak response, day care/afterschool programs and any other emerging needs or issues.

Appropriate Student-Staff Interaction
Attendees will learn how to define appropriate boundaries, identify acceptable and unacceptable behavior, respond appropriately to unacceptable behavior, recognize the early signs of misconduct, prevent and identify what constitutes student “grooming”. Risk Transferring SAM Webinar
Getting risk transfer right depends on striking the right balance between coverage limits and exposures. Obtaining proper sexual abuse and molestation SAM coverage from third party therapists and counselors poses challenges due to deficiencies like inadequate or non-existent limits. Deciding which group of therapists should provide SAM coverage complicates the process. In this webinar, we will explore the exposures various types of therapists present; identify where SAM coverage deficiencies are hiding and how to address them.

CAARE Program: New Services and Programs to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse
In response to the increasing claims, trauma and awareness growing around child sexual assault, ASCIP has developed an array of services and programs to support the efforts of our members in child sexual assault prevention. The CAARE Program (Child Anti-Assault Response & Education) collaborates with districts to provide support, guidance, resources and programs dedicated to eliminating child sexual abuse. One resource of the CAARE Program includes an on-call CAARE Incident Response Team to provide members with quick responses and support in the areas of legal expertise, human resources, public relations and incident recovery. In addition, CAARE provides extensive training options for students and staff, resources for victims and a new campaign designed to send a message of empowerment to students of all grades.
