This webinar focuses on the hazards of heat stress, provides tips for outdoor workers to stay safe when working in hot conditions, and describes the employer’s procedures for protecting workers from heat stress as required by California’s heat illness prevention regulation (8 CCR 3395). We will review the causes and underlying factors that lead to heat Illness, identify signs of heat illness and the measures to take to prevent heat illness from occurring.
